Troubleshoot lighting problems, test bulb inventories before an installation, test for quality assurance on an assemby line, and many other uses...
Test bulbs in or out of the fixture. With the Flicker, testing is easy even if they are not installed in a fixture
Test any common gas-filled bulb
Simple one-button, non-invasive test with a telescoping antenna to easily reach fixture
Operates on one 9V battery
Operation:
1. Extend Flicker antenna if additional reach required. Performance increases with antenna retracted.
2. Slide the switch on the top panel to the left. The red LED on the front of the case should light, indicating that the Fllicker is powered on and in an idle condition---ready to test bulbs.
3. Push and hold the yellow button to energize the Flicker while touching the tip or side of the antenna against the metal end cap or across the glass surface of the bulb. Maintain steady contact between the antenna and the bulb for at least 3-4 seconds.
If the bulb flickers (glows), the bulb is working.
If the bulb does not illuminate at all, replace the bulb.
